- Control Checkpoints
- The route each day between starting and ending hotels is predefined by control checkpoints. Each day's route has a total of five control checkpoints including: starting checkpoint, three control check points, and a finish checkpoint.
- Bonus Locations
- Each day's route has multiple bonus locations that riders may optionally navigate between. Bonus locations are used to add navigation complexity to the route and encourages riders to travel along a common route between control checkpoints.
